Question Sashi M : TV remote control-TV stopped working, but satellite dish project controls
I have a Sony HD TV, only a year old, had several blackouts and suddenly the TV remote does not work at all. Dish Network in the remote, controls satellite work, but TV controls like power and volume. Anyone experience this or know what to do? (10 points to best answer!) Best answer:

due to power outages, remote controls you can forget the codes that help them communicate with the controls on your TV. Check your remote manual to see how you can enter the code and try to find a TV in your list of codes here: http://www.remote-codes.com/

One of the best (if not the best) characteristics of the new Apple TV, actually includes the iPad (or iPhone and iPod Touch). Apple TV can use the iPad as a remote. Using the remote control app for the iPad I can pull the content (movies, music, podcasts, etc.) from my iMac in my living room and stream via WiFi with the new Apple TV, and display on my TV. Very cool!
